The heart muscle requires a constant supply of oxygen-rich blood to nourish it. heart attack occurs when the flow of oxygen to a certain part of the heart is blocked and since the oxygen carried by blood that could mean that the flow of blood is blocked by certain clot in the vein.

in the most case the heart attack can be identified by those symptoms. Discomfort, pressure, heaviness, or pain in the chest, arm, or below the breastbone. This is different from the usual pains it  could be very severe.
It could also cause: Fullness, indigestion, or choking feeling like heartburn
Sweating, nausea, vomiting, or dizziness
Extreme weakness, anxiety, or shortness of breath
Rapid or irregular heartbeats
Some people have a heart attack without having any symptoms but it is more common among people with diabetes.
what to do during heart attack ?
When symptoms of a heart attack is clear. Its better to take action immediately t save a live. In most case,the problem could lead to certain death because of delaying. but as soon as it is suspected there are two modes of treatment that can be taken. The first of the two involves introducing a drug that can dissolve the clot responsible for the blockage so that blood can continue flowing through the affected vein and deliver the oxygen to the heart muscle in question. But in the other method, a specialist doctor or heart surgeon can be called in to enlarge the cross sectional area of the vein to allow more fluid to flow so that the oxygen can reach the affected heart muscle.

in order to prevent a heart attack there are several measure you should take. first you should watch the food you eat. it should have less fat but rich in leafy material and fiber. You should also avoid smoking and alcohol, Take regular exercise to reduce the risk of heart attack. And lastly you should to make sure that you maintain your weight and you continue going for checkups so that you maintain a healthy heart all the time.
